Real Wedding: Kristy and Luke

When it came to finding the perfect venue for their wedding, lovebirds Kristy and Luke wanted something laid-back yet stylish, a place where they could celebrate all weekend with their closest friends and family. For them, Eleven Eighty was a no-brainer, offering that seamless blend of intimacy and elegance, with ceremony, reception, and accommodation all wrapped up in one location. They also loved how the space already had a vibe, saving them from the overwhelm of a full DIY wedding setup.

When it came to the big day, Kristy and Luke’s theme was bold and bright. Think mismatched pastel bridesmaid dresses, a rainbow of vibrant florals (thanks to Two Wild Hearts Co), and an overall playful, colourful aesthetic that set the tone for a joyous celebration.

The only thing brighter than the beautiful flowers was Luke’s face as his glowing bride walked down the aisle.

Picking a single highlight from this wedding was no easy feat. From the boys getting ready in the train carriage to the girls taking over the School Master’s House, the entire day was packed with unforgettable moments.

Kristy especially loved the speeches and the electric energy on the dancefloor, where her friends truly brought the party vibes.

Perhaps our favourite part of the day was the margarita-filled spin on the classic champagne tower, (courtesy of Henry Clive) —a definite hit with all the guests!

With just 60 guests, the day had an intimate feel that allowed Kristy and Luke to spend quality time with their family and friends. Including popping down to the local beach at Shoalhaven Heads for some photos with their bridal party in the beautiful afternoon light.

I know we’re biased, but how good is the South Coast?

All the vendors did an amazing job helping bring this wedding to life so we think we should give them all a shout-out here.

The place is like a treasure trove filed with beautiful thoughtfully curated objects and super styled so that every different area is truly unique.
